it doesn’t seem dumb at all because the worst feeling in the world is waking to feeling s. i wake up sometimes and my heart is racing, i get cold, i start to sweat, and so forth. sometimes i’m scared to sleep for this reason. but if it does happen where you wake up feeling s, massage your wrists. it is a pressure point which helps nausea. i often massage my feet too while i close my eyes because it’s simply very relaxing. hope this helps!
